I am thinking to be a 1st or 2nd grade teacher.

What course should I take in college. What degree should I get?
Is there any adice or what I should be preparing for?

I was just wondering because, schools are changing all the time; and I was thinking if teachers would have to start teaching 1st grade and Kindergarten fractions and X’s tables.
