Is It Ok For A Child To Start 1st Grade At 7 Years Old?

My daughter will be turning 6 this September and she supposed to go to 1st grade this fall, but due to family circumstances she will start school next year. Did anybody have the same situation? I’m worried a little bit.
Please, any advise will be helpfull.

Ideas In Setting Up 1st Grade Classroom In California?

Hello. I have been offered a 1st grade classroom near my hometown. I have to relocate in order to take the job,which is fine. I would like some suggestions from lower primary teachers on what they include in their classrooms,routines, websites etc. I have had student teaching experience and substitute experience at that grade level,but would love to hear from anyone that would like to help me. What To Play With My 1st Grade Cousin?

I babysit my cousin sometimes, shes in 1st grade and she easily gets bored. She watches TV, colors draws. I Help her do homework too but she gets bored alot and runs in my room .
What should i buy or do to keep her busy? Besides what i wrote earlier and giving them food.
Sometimes her lil sister comes too. (Preschool)

Does Anyone Know Good Boarding Schools In New York Preferably New York City Where I Can Enroll A 1st Grade Boy?

the boarding school has to have a good reputation, in a good area, moderate price, preferably in any good area in new york city or in new york state, and for a boy in 1st grade….it doesn’t matter if its a all boys school but i rather prefer a co-ed boarding school…thank you for your help =]
