Nemours BrightStart! Training for Early Childhood Educators
Empowering educators with practical, effective information that helps them to handle the real-life challenges of teaching pre-reading is part of the mission of Nemours BrightStart! In 2005, Nemours BrightStart! developed a unique early literacy curriculum and began field testing with hundreds of pre-kindergartens at risk for reading struggles and dyslexia. The BrightStart! curriculum has proven highly effective in building alphabet knowledge and phonological awareness skills that support future reading success. This curriculum is the perfect enhancement to any pre-kindergarten or kindergarten program, especially those serving at-risk learners. Each set includes fully-developed lesson plans and all the support materials needed to deliver developmentally appropriate, easy-to-use, multi-sensory, and FUN early literacy activities for young children. This video features Nemours BrightStart! Trainers teaching early childhood educators how to use the curriculum with their children who are struggling to learn to read.
